Greetings......
As I am very new at this venture, I'd like to make contact with fellow investors/keen musos/interested in seeing Thumtronics become the new phenomenon of the 21st century.
Have a superb day! Thank you.
Signed: DD.

I gather from the evidence (that the company posted a stock floatation attempt, then took it back) that they've had problems raising enough investment. In a situation like this, most start-up companies then attempt to raise capital in other ways, while keeping expenses low (costs come out of a very small pool of remaining money).
Some start up companies are very open about this, while some company's people can take this as personal failing, or perhaps for legal reasons (if you don't say anything you can't be said to be misleading anyone), and then don't post anything, hoping for the best. Thumtronics may be the latter.
I personally think it best to be open about the difficutlies, as people can be very supportive, but I'm not the one with the big personal investment.
In the absence of being able to buy a Thummer, I've first programmed my PC keyboard to act like one, and found that it works pretty good as a demo. I've now built my own version of a jammer (I call my version a "zipEx") , and will be setting up a blog demonstrating (1) why the jammer / Thummer concept is so good, and (2) how to build one from a regular electronic keyboard (I used a Yamaha DJX).
I could really use your help. I can now send you the crude PC (or Mac) keyboard "Thumfield" to midi mapper as an executable and also the code used to write it, if you wish. The program could use some simple refinements that any programmer could do: add modulation and transposition, a better display etc.
We can build our own jammers. Its easier than say, building a model rocket from scatch, or a model airplane. The more people involved, the easier. It's even possible this could be a money-making venture.

Hey guys,
It is no Secret. Thumtronics did not raise the needed funds in Australia and are in the process of moving to America.
Not much happening at the moment but I will try and keep you updated.
A12Learn, please post your site when it is up. Sounds very interesting.

It may not be a secret, but it sure as heck is not posted anywhere on this web site, and it should be!
I finally fished this up: Inventor forced to leave - digest: version: too hard to raise money in Western Austrailia. We're not yet at the "location does not matter" stage for setting up a business. A1.
